The Rippel Foundation Vital Conditions for Health and Well-Being Framework
Through a Community Land Trust (CLT), 3BV elevates community empowerment and self-determination to drive sustainable improvements in health, wealth, and well-being. This approach protects community land from speculative development, reduces uncertainty about the future use of the Bordeaux landfill, and slows the forced displacement of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. By intentionally building community with residents as co-designers, 3BV advances data-informed, innovative revitalization strategies and ensures continuous community stewardship of land for generations to come.
